SIGG Thermo Bottle : It's Tea Time All the Time

I had big plans for my SIGG Thermo Bottle. I was going to go snowshoeing with friends, and impress them during our first break with my fancy, sleek metal thermos. Then I got sick, and sicker, and then so sick I went to bed for three weeks.

The good news is: I used my SIGG thermos every day. I have the 1 liter bottle (it comes in a variety of sizes and colors), which is perfect for a day's supply of tea. I may not have been able to explore snowy mountain trails on my winter vacation, but in my weakened state I was pretty darn happy that I didn't have to get off of my couch all day. My tea stayed hot, sweet, and refreshing from the first cup to the last.

This stainless steel thermos not only kept my beverage hot, it was simple to use. It's thin enough to get my hand around, and it has a long top lip, so pouring is easy. Best, even if my tea is hot, the outside of the bottle stays cool. The screw top is easy-on, easy-off, and the metal lid (also insulated that the heat from my beverage stays in the cut rather than getting transferred to my hand) is the perfect size cup for a tea or water break.

Bottom Line: I have to put this one down as a must-have item. It's glass-free, lightweight, double-walled, and easy to clean. Excellent price point, too.--E.D. (Jan 06)
